But gee, I wish you had asked me that question earlier, when I put that video here, because now I feel terribly embarassed not being able to recollect what I used here... damn, sorry! Must have been some medieval piece of work from Machaut, I guess, but I have more than a million of music at home, so... sorry

Pfew, yeah, I found it back: it is definitely a ballade by Machaut entitled Hoquetus David, an instrumental one (which is unusual from that time but I did not want voices in this video), and it is directed by Lucien Kandel (he's the head of the Musica Nova Ensemble).
