Thanks, TssFulk! I hope you do understand french, though, or else it would not have much interest I don't know if you read my articles on my website but I said about Fresco that the theme was really well described by the mechanisms, so you definitely could use that game for aesthetics, yes!
I read the closed-captioned subtitles. But I love the sound of French. Too bad I didn't pay more attention in High School (or visited Montréal more often).
Love your videos, Hemu! I also love the emotions you manage to wring out of "Mr. Hands"!
I think there may be a small mistake in the video. When you pay 1 coin to move the bishop, he can only move 1 square in any direction. I believe you show him "hopping" all the way across the board in your video. Not a biggie. I believe there's a portrait card that gives you the ability to move the bishop greater distances.
You're right, good spot ! But it is not a unintentional mistake, I must say, as my videos are all about quick and easy grasping of games, so I don't have much time or even will to stick strictly to the rules... People who saw my video and suddenly felt like trying/buying the game will not remember these "rules eccentricities" I often allow myself... If you enjoy spotting them, though, as a real geek we all proudly are around here, don't hesitate reviewing my 45 previous vids
No problem! However, I did catch myself saying "Hey... have I been playing that rule wrong all this time?" and spent probably 15 or 20 minutes researching the rule. If I can save just one more person the anxiety and worry... it was worth it!
