Hi, here is my 47th video: Jamaica! a swiss and french board game by Bruno Cathala, Malcolm Braff & Sébastien Pauchon and published by GameWorks in 2007!
Hem, this video was fantastic! It had to have taken awhile because the narration and video were in sync perfectly. Not only that, but you boiled the instructions down to their bare-bones essentials.
Your videos seem to be a cross between UvulaBob and the Mayfair Games videos. UvulaBob boils his game instructions down to their essentials also, but his confuse me because they fly by so fast (though I enjoy his videos). Mayfair Games videos give a great overview like you do but with more detailed instructions.
Your videos are fun to watch. Please keep it up.
I'm very happy you are now doing english version videos!
Thanks a lot everyone for your comments! And thank you a lot too, Wister, that was nice ! (although I don't know about the people you compared me to, but I am sure they do a great job!). I'm glad you enjoy my english videos, I always check them a lot before publishing them because I am so afraid of making a mistake... Anyway, got to edit my 48th one, so, bye!
While others go in in front of the camera, with a huge collection show-off as a background, and go blablabla like they'd be preaching in a church, Hem captures the essential.
As usual, the game is perfectly summarized in an enjoyable, fun and extra-short movie.
Thanks a lot, Frank, although I sure don't deserve all you say!
Cimex, it is pure fun! I was scared before by all the critics about that game, saying it was boring, too simple, and so on. But I think people often kind of forget to be a bit less geeky when it is not needed, and not only is this game amazingly beautiful, but we have so much chaotic fun with it, you can play with 6 people on it for just an hour and it is hilarious and totally a funny mess! I just love it - well, which game of mine I don't like, that I don't know...
