The GeekDo is composed of a volunteer crew who work closely with both the developers of the site and, more importantly, the end users who interface with the database and forums. We are here to help! Really. If you have any questions or concerns about the content of any specific domain of GeekDo, please contact one of the admins for that Area. Below you will find a list of the people who are knowledgeable about the navigation and data entry for the site - use us as resources! If you contact someone on the list below who can't help you directly, they will contact the other content managers and get you the help you need. Don't be shy! The admins also help moderate the Forums, manage content approval not currently covered by GeekMod, resolve community issues, and in some cases write code.

Lots of coding on new features. The Final Boss of VGG, I'm right now responsible for coordinating all the base efforts. Directing plots, scheming and all out changes that encompass everything. If you see some megalomaniac bahaviours in me, blame Dave.
I work a bit too as an admin for RPGG (my first admin work here), I started playing RPGs with Dungeons & Dragons Game (New Simplified Version), than moved to Dungeoneer and Advanced Dungeons & Dragons (2nd Edition), played a lot when translated RPG were very rare in Brazil (only had GURPS (1st & 2nd Editions)). I'm currently playing Ars Magica (5th Edition). For now I will be focusing on approving item and helping with the duplicates on the database. but I've been a bit way, with more to come.

In addition to dabbling in both boardgame, RPG, and computer game design, I am particularly interested in helping out with D&D 2nd through 3.5 edition, Pathfinder, a variety of independent games such as Everway, and any and all magazines. I'm also the Genre Police, and as you can tell from the state of crime on the streets, a policeman's job is never done. I'm usually friendly, but occasionally cranky (in a friendly sort of way). I really don't mind out of the blue queries although I don't promise to have all the answers.

When I'm not somewhere else I'm here. When I'm here I'm doing whatever needs being done. Common activities include review of submissions, data clean-up, and database structure debate. Most RPG experience with 80's products plus late 3.5 and 4E D&D. Excited about the possibilities to branch out again and beginning to dabble in more storyteller inspired products.

Yep that was 12 Power Grid maps back to back over two days. Worth doing, but possibly not in such a concentrated burst.
Ooh yes, now a little to the left - my nose is itchy. No, no the other left! Now what colour is 12 supporter badge going to be I wonder?

Heavily into RPGs from the very early days of D&D including being an organiser of Arcanacon, a major Australian RPG convention, until Daughter The Elder was born and we ran out of spare time. Covered lots of stuff last century, D&D everything up to AD&D 2nd edition, Call of Cthulhu, RuneQuest, various systemless and other stuff in convention tournaments. Moved much more into Boardgames since then. General Admin about town, or Admin Without Portfolio on RPG and BGG. Forums, etc.

I've started roleplaying with Advanced Dungeons & Dragons (2nd Edition), followed by Vampire: The Dark Ages, GURPS (3rd Edition) and Dungeons & Dragons (3rd Edition). After that, I've ventured into the realm of a homebrew system, URG, created by a friend of mine. I'm still hoping to create the perfect (for me) RPG system, and I'm collecting RPG systems for inspiration (as well as collecting RPG settings for inspiration for my own settings). As a result, I know a bit of a lot of systems, but there's little I know in detail, as I seldom venture past the core books.
I joined as an RPGG admin on June 22th, 2009. Though I try to keep an eye on everything that is going on, I mostly focus on new submissions.

My first commercial RPG exposure was the D&D Basic Set when I was 11 (although I'd been heavily into gamebooks before that as well) and I've since gone on to run and play lots of other RPGs. I have expertise in various games and settings, which I've left on my profile for brevity. (I'm also to blame for Way of the Geeky.) Although I love all games, RPGs are the dearest to my heart and I can't imagine any other genre of game supplanting them. Aside from the usual admin duties of moderating database content and being an exceptionally friendly face, I also set up the RPGG Heroes initiative which encourages any user to help improve the quality of this site. You can be a Hero too! I'm also a strong proponent for excellent use of language, correcting spelling and grammar errors.

I got tapped to be an Admin on Feb. 15, 2012, possibly to staunch the number of submissions that I personally contribute; I might as well be doing something constructive on the site as long as I'm here so much.
My main goal is going to try to be as helpful for users who are new to the submission process as Bob was to me when I first started.

Game and release queue approvals. Occasionally series and franchise queues, and game/release corrections.
My forte is release information and other useful game sources. If you’re looking for a means of tracking down the release date for a Greatest Hits rerelease or Korean port of a 10 year old game, I probably have some useful links to point you on your way. I can also help you sort out whether that multiplatform game based on a movie should be one VGG entry or 7.
I'm also the curator of the Video Game Geek Hall of Fame.
Don't hesitate to GM me if you have any questions or need some assistance.
