Charles S. Roberts awards

Since 1975, the Charles S. Roberts awards been given annually for excellence in the historical wargaming hobby. From 2000 on, the awards have been presented at the World Boardgaming Championships.

Best Modern Era Boardgame (1987-present; aka Post-WWII Boardgame)
Best Wargame Graphics (1976-present)
Best DTP-Produced Boardgame (1999-present)
Best Magazine-Published Boardgame (1999-present)
Best Pre-20th Century Era Computer Wargame (1987-1988, 1991, 1997-present)
Best 20th Century Era Computer Wargame (1987-1989, 1991, 1997-present)
Best Game Review or Game Analysis (1987-present)
Best Historical or Scenario Article (1987-present)
Best Professional Wargame Magazine (1974-present)
Best Amateur Wargame Magazine (1974-present)
