At the same time as the Austrian Game of the Year award (Spiel der Spiele) is given out in August the Wiener Spiele Akademie awards several "Spiele-Hits" ("Best in Class") in 6 categories: Spiele Hit mit Freunden ("Game Hits with Friends"); Spiele Hit für Kinder ("Game Hits for Children"); Spiele Hit für Viele ("Game Hits for Multiplayers"); Spiele Hit für Zwei ("Game Hits for Two Players"); Spiele Hit für Experten ("Hits for Experts") and Spiele Hit für Familien (Hits with Family).
