After three years I finally found the courage to open my box of Pandora. The damage is repairable. Almost all glued miniatures are broken; Wolfen, Griffon, Troll, ... And the Griffon inquisitors' paint is chipped. Luckily the partial (good) paintjob on the Wolfen has somehow survived the crash.
Looking at my Confrontation collection now, I going to reuse some of the miniatures for other 28mm games.
The Wolfen will have a dual use: 28mm Warmaster and Confrontation.
For the Keltois I have other plans: a WFB Norse army!
The Griffon, Mid-nors and Orcs will remain Confrontation.
The Troll... yeah what to do with the Troll? ...
The Orc Brontops-beast riders (top left in the main picture), they'll go to my WFB Ogre Kingdoms army to be used as Rhinox riders.

In this blog I'll talk about various miniature games. Custom miniatures and minor conversions are my favorite pastime. I'll cover scenery making and painting too.
The WIP you'll see here is all about Necromunda, Epic 40,000, Warhammer Fantasy 5th Edition, Warmaster, Warhammer 40K 3rd Edition and Lord ot Rings.

Note: This is the continuation of my retrospective. Following blogposts will be about my old miniature paintjobs and scenery making. All images show work from +/- 15 years ago.
This warband contains miniatures from various producers: Harlequin Miniatures, Games Workshop Ltd. and Rackham. I really like the color scheme. Most Beastmen are painted brown, but the grey skin really makes them "pop". By using the same color scheme on all miniatures it doesn't matter if they are from different publishers. They look like a coherent group.
I recently bought some extra beastmen to be able to use this warband in Mordheim: City of the Damned.

A little more than one year ago I posted about the disaster that happened to my precious Confrontation miniatures. Fortunatelly this did not happen to my 100% painted miniatures. (Unfortunatelly it DID happen to some that were 99% painted...)
Here's a view on two survivors. The Wolfen Repenti is my first miniature for Confrontation. And it was the first I painted.
I still like it to this day. However I think I will use it in a Warhammer Chaos or Beastmen army.
The next miniature by Rackham is my all time favorite of ALL miniature brands. This Minotaur just radiates "STRONG. STOP. KILL.".
This is my favorite miniature in my collection (next to the HeroQuest miniatures) and has yet to see one tabletop battle...
Back in the days this Minotaur inspired me that much, I had to draw one for myself:

I accidentally (dûh) dropped my box with semi finished metal Confrontation miniatures. Almost all glued joints broken, some paint chips... And those who own Rackham metals, you know the detail is great, many spikes and very fine blades. Well, all those are bent ...
ps: the picture shows only 1/3th of the damage. I allready cleaned some of the mess before the pic was taken...
