I'm abusing my blog moderator privileges again folks!

Accessibility is important and these folks are at the forefront of pushing for it in RPGs. They are running an online con October 1st & 2nd with games, panels and more. It is also for charity!

You wanted a happier post from me for my next blog article, well here it is!

Two industry big guns are currently looking to hire.

Goodman Games
https://goodman-games.com/blog/2021/03/13/help-wanted-dcc-ed...

Maybe you’re the sort of person that cares to correctly punctuate a text message, knows how to affect an effect, and for whom the semicolon holds no terror. You might be an editor!

Goodman Games has some big projects on the horizon, and we need additional DCC editing help. If you are a DCC judge or player with an eye for detail, an appreciation of Appendix N, and experience as an editor, we might have a place for you in our editorial ranks.

Please email us at info@goodman-games.com with your relevant experience and perhaps we’ll have more to discuss!

Mongoose Publishing

An abridged version of: http://forum.mongoosepublishing.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1229...

Mongoose is casting the net to find someone who can handle everything word-related in connection with our games - the candidate must be capable of writing gaming material of excellent quality, editing with an extremely high degree of accuracy, working with writers, commissioning new work, handling playtesting and proofing processes, and everything else involved in getting a book from a blank page to a document ready to send to layout.

The position is full-time and permanent, and the candidate would have to live and work in Swindon (United Kingdom). That part is non-negotiable, as we work as a tightly knit team. .... This is a critical position at Mongoose (this cannot be overstated) and we are quite prepared to wait until the right person comes along. ...you can contact me at msprange@mongoosepublishing.com

Hello RPGGeeks. It's sad news time on the Geek. There have been a few deaths related to RPGs of late.

Regine / Herbstwind

February 11th 2021

Some of you may have seen my post in the weekly "What Have You Played" Geeklist, saying that our friend Regine passed away a short while ago in a car crash. Her husband and family are, of course, devastated, and we will miss a great gaming friend. I only ever "met" her via video calls in our fortnightly games, but she was lovely and will be missed.

Dave Nalle

RPG Designer: David F. Nalle
February 13th 2021 from COVID-19.

David F. Nalle was an RPG and political writer. Ignoring the political aspects, he wrote for Dragon, Abyss, and Alarums & Excursions

He is known for designing roleplaying games, especially Ysgarth and To Challenge Tomorrow. His board games include the collectible card game Quest for the Grail.

On February 11th his partner, Maggie Perkins, announced that he was critically ill from COVID-19 and then on February 14th that he had died the previous day.

Morgan Ellis

Morgan Ellis, a writer for the FATE system, including such notable items as The Dresden Files, Shadow of the Century and Atomic Robo, passed away early March 2021.

Many people online report that he was a wonderful man and a fantastic GM, who loved convention games.
