A few days ago, VPG’s new owner, Dan Yarrington sent out a newsletter which as far as I know is the first time the new VPG has shown any signs of life since firing the old create staff.

By this time many of you probably already seen the news, but just to make sure that everybody who’re following this series I’ll repost the relevant parts.

The news was also posted in a thread by Dan: VPG's Future Plans

The info that’s relevant for the States of Siege series is this:

”Tabletop Tycoon” wrote:
we are selling existing published titles […] and working on expansions for […] Dawn of the Zeds, we are moving toward remastering and relaunching the Victory Point Games (VPG) line.
[…]
What is Remastering?
Remastering could include updated art, graphics, clarified rules, and upgraded component quality. This will vary by title, so one game might simply have an updated cover where another game might have a more extensive overhaul including all of the changes listed above.
[…]
We plan to work on remastering existing titles and publishing new titles in 2020 to release in 2021 and beyond.

Titles We Intend to Remaster:
Cruel Necessity
Hapsburg Eclipse, Ottoman Sunset, and other States of Siege titles
[…]
Zulus on the Ramparts
[…]
Keep Up the Fire!
[…]
We may also remaster titles like [...] Empires in America
[…]
New Titles
In addition to these remasters and expansion support for existing lines, we will continue to create new titles carrying on the Victory Point Games tradition of exploring exciting conflicts.
I have asked whether those new games will include more games in the States of Siege series and will post back here if I get an answer.

Btw. this series of post and my blog in general is also still alive , but I’m too busy to work it currently cry.
