A whole brigade of Bretonnian cavalry has been waiting in my closet for the infantry to arrive. And finally they're here. Two regiments of Men-at-arms from a Fireforge Games KickStarter.
I removed a coupled of milimeters from the resin guy's legs in order to make his the same height as the other mini's. It's sad these guys are 35mm and not the Warhammer FB heroic scale 28mm... But they look good and remind me of the Advanced Heroquest Henchmen. But, again, they are much larger than those vintage dudes...
The standard bearer holds a banner from Games-Workshop. He also received a headswap from the GW Men-at-arms (or Archers) sprue.
The MDF base comes from eBay. Suits my needs perfectly. For my Warmaster 28mm conversion I need regiment ranks of 4 wide, 3 deep. (More about that in previous blog posts.)
To reach 24 infantry spots I only had to use 1 filler. Some barrels fulfilled this purpose perfectly.
PS: Fireforge's Folk Rabble set is terrible. I had great difficulty fitting the arms and weapons. They are not the same modelling quality as the henchmen from above.
In this blog I'll talk about various miniature games. Custom miniatures and minor conversions are my favorite pastime. I'll cover scenery making and painting too. The WIP you'll see here is all about Necromunda, Epic 40,000, Warhammer Fantasy 5th Edition, Warmaster and Warhammer 40K 3rd Edition.
