Hey all,
This is just a quick post to point you to a new Jason Tagmire (of Button Shy) solitaire design. I received it in the January "Board Game of the Month" shipment. You can get it FOR FREE. I've only played it once (on May 1st, sadly my only play of anything so far this month), but that play was enjoyable. Solitaire gaming is not my thing, but I found this one quick and pleasant with some tough decisions followed by agonizing, disgusting card draws of the exact card not needed right then. It's called Nytelyfe Solitaire. It's played with a traditional deck of cards. On your turn, you draw a card, then place it in one of five spots, noting that playing in certain spots may result in having to place a card facedown (which is bad). Once all five spots are filled, you start a new round and do it again, adding cards to each row. Just watch out for vampires. Keep doing this until the deck runs out, then check your score. Simple and fun.
Check it out FOR FREE here: https://www.pnparcade.com/products/nytelyfe
Then go buy a copy of Hierarchy from Button Shy because it's so good.
(Thanks to Travis Morton [blogpost=104026]for pointing to this print n play version[/blogpost]. I wouldn't have known about it otherwise.
Jason, if you're reading this, do me a favor and upload Adder and Earthshine somewhere online so that I can rave about them and share them! Pretty please!
But now I will tell the lineage and the names of the heroes, and of the long sea-paths and the deeds
Just another bgg blog about playing games.
