Clemson Tigers #1
The December Challenge comes to a close with a game of Kingdom Builder.
This is the 9th play of a game I rate as a 7.
In this game we had the contradictory goals of hermits, which rewards many small settlements, and citizens, which rewards big settlements. We also had workers, which rewards placement around castles and settlements.
Melissa had difficulty starting new settlements while I ended up with several settlements but no really big one. Both kids did a better job of diversifying. Son was able to end the game while I had too many buildings left off the board.
Castles: Son, Melissa, Larry 6, Daughter 3
Workers: Son 16m Larry and Daughter 12, Melissa 11
Hermits: Daughter and Larry 7, Son 6, Melissa 4
Citizens: Son 11, Daughter 10, Larry and Melissa 5.
Final Scores: Son 39, Daughter 32, Larry 30, Melissa 26.
And with that, the 2nd Annual December Gaming Challenge comes to a close. I hope you enjoyed reading my little write-ups of the games we play and our family wishes you a Happy New Year.
