Finally, a Warlord for my Waaagh! I have ten or more of these miniatures, but in fact an army only needs one.
His stand holds a retinue to fix him up (medic), provide cover fire (bazooka), a bodyguard (Nob) and a banner bearer to show his presence on the battlefield.
Three psykers will be available for my armies. The Runtherds with the mancatcher polearms are there to keep the wyrdboyz in line.
I also prepared 5 stands of Nobz to shout commands at the Boyz. Some of the Nobz have Gretchin as pets.
My Waaagh is divided in two factions. ThecivilizedOrks and the Feral Orks. These wild boyz from the woods are ranching the Squiggoths and are allied with Trolls.
I didn't want to throw away my Troll miniatures from the Chaos expansion for Epic 1st edition. In Warhammer Fantasy Battle the Trolls always seek company in the greenskins' armies, so I thought I'd do the same for my Epic Ork army. A stand containing a Troll will be used as Skarboyz (ruleswise).
If you are following my blog for a while, then you'll have noticed that I always want to add specials items to my armies. I'm not a great conversion specialist, but I DO tend to make variations in my armies. As a centrepiece of my Waaagh, I did not want the Gargant to be the eye-catcher. The Feral Orks will be the first you see. And this gargantuan squiggoth from Monsterpocalypse is just perfect!
The truck with the egg is driven by a bunch of courageous Orks, leading the gargantuan squiggoth to the enemy. I don't have any stats for this miniature yet, so for the moment he's for display purposes only. Any tips welcome!
Miniature Games Construction Yard
In this blog I'll talk about various miniature games. Custom miniatures and minor conversions are my favorite pastime. I'll cover scenery making and painting too.
The WIP you'll see here is all about Necromunda, Epic 40,000, Warhammer Fantasy 5th Edition, Warmaster and Warhammer 40K 3rd Edition.
