An awful lot of the art for 404: Law Not Found has come together today and it's fantastic. If you have a look at it I'm pretty sure that you'll be impressed, so without further ado here's the art that I did today:
Fortunately there are also people who can actually do art working on this project and while I'm assured that it was a close run thing we've decided to go with their efforts rather than mine. Poor hugbot can live in a dusty cupboard under the stairs until a different project calls for him.
Firstly, the icons have been updated from monochrome free icons to more appropriate icons that have been lovingly crafted specifically for this project. Try to ignore the visual pun.
There's also new card art and new card designs, I'll show off one of each of the types of card, but I'll save some of the card art for a rainy day.
Not only that but the board has had an embiggening and a bit of a redesign, it'll get its first playtests tomorrow, so I'm pretty excited about that
I know that people generally tune in here for words, but I'm just too excited to see the game coming together to write an essay on game design today. I'll make it up tomorrow with a post that's about double my usual wordcount
Also the BGG entry for the game just appeared. That's pretty cool; I'd better get to uploading some pictures. This game thing is really going to happen *bounces off excitably*
