Summary
Last year's Kingdom Builder was a major disappointment as it took a great game and presented it in a very lackluster port. Not only was it ugly, but it seemed out of touch with basic design principles that most digital board games follow today. Alhambra is trying to fix some of those shortcomings. It features an UI that fits the screen and adjusts by device, it also attempts a more video gamey look (though a traditional view option is available). It's still a bit dated looking, BSW is the multiplayer platform, and some of the text can be hard to read on iPhone, but overall it charts a stronger future for Queen Games' digital line.
