Summary
Since we first announced the game back at PAX Prime 2013, I have been excited for this implementation. Quarriors! is a game I find too light on the tabletop but in digital form I imagined it being quick and enjoyable. MFV accomplishes my dreams in this no-frills adaptation The UI can be a little challenging and turn progression is occasionally confusing, but as an experienced player you will breeze right through in a few moments. For new players, things really start to fall apart as the tutorial is lacking and the UI issues are magnified. There are also a few alarming bugs (sometimes elements you need to interact with will just fail to load), but I am sure this sort of thing will be solved quickly. Overall I feel split down the middle. Quarriors! is a lot of fun, and the quick play on iPad mitigates its swingy qualities. However, the barriers to entry really limit Quarriors! as an introduction for new players.

Fun for veterans, a challenge for newbies.
