Hello everyone! It has been a long time since I’ve updated the blog and there has been a ton of PNP news that I haven’t covered. I had several real-world things going on the last few months and I was never able to find time to sit down and write a giant post catching up on the last several months of news. None-the-less, I have all of the news in a spreadsheet and I’m finally ready to start hacking through it. I will divide the news into several posts to make them more readable and easier to write.
Today I am going to start by covering Crowdfunded games that include a PNP option. One of these games in particular has exploded in popularity with tons of re-themes and translations made available by the fan community so I’ll be covering that game in a bit more detail. That game, of course, is…
Coin Age by Adam P. McIver
Coin Age is a fast playing two player area control game that you play with a handful of coins and a single card. If you haven’t downloaded the game yet, grab it from the BGG Page. It’s the easiest PNP game you’ll ever make.
Coin Age Print & Play
Coin Age had a very successful Kickstarter campaign last month. If you missed the campaign, you’ll still be able to buy the printed game when it is available. In the mean time though you can enjoy the original PNP game or any of the many rethemes.
Coin Age Rethemes
The game was designed to be played with regular coins, but the designer has released stickers to put on the coins that make the player sides easier to differentiate.

Redesigns by Tom Van 't veld
Tom Van 't veld has designed several maps and coin sticker sheets for Coin Age with Star Wars, Game of Thrones, and other themes. All of his redesigns are available in the Coin Age Image Gallery.

Guldenland redesign by Kai Bettzieche
Kai designed a new map with only seven spaces instead of the usual ten so the areas will be battled over much more aggressively. The board is round instead of rectangular but the money-based puns are just as awesome as the original version. This retheme is available in the Coin Age Image Gallery.
Star Wars Theme by David Thiel
David Thiel has created a Star Wars theme that uses the various planets from the franchise. He’s also made a nice cover for that version.
Lord of the Rings redesign by Gravey
Lord of the Rings fans can enjoy either this Middle Earth map by Gravey or the one below by Lukas Ostgaard. Who am I kidding, you should enjoy both of them! They are available in the Coin Age Image Gallery.

South Korea redesign by Weston Stapleton
Coin Age - South Korea Map
Weston designed this map for his target in the PNP Santa exchange but after several people asked for a copy, he agreed to share it with everyone here on BGG. It is available in the file section using the link above.
Game of Thrones redesign by Will Clark
Will Clark designed a map for Game of Thrones fans.
Will also made blank templates so that users can easily make their own variant maps. Each template is available in the Coin Age Image Gallery.
Blank Cards by Benjamin Titus
blank coin age maps for DIY
Will’s blank cards have colored backgrounds. If you prefer to make your own designs using a plain white background then Benjamin Titus has made the template for you. This template is available in the Coin Age File Section at the link above.
If you make your own version of Coin Age, please post it to BGG and I’ll add it to the PNP New Blog.
