In the latest version of BGG1tool I've added a chart feature.

When you have a list of games, click on the "Data charts" button and select the "Custom chart" voice:

In that window you can select a field for the horizontal axis (for example: the year of publishing) and one for the vertical (for example: rank), click on the "Plot chart" button and this is the result:
