BattleLore Command Releases for iOS and Android
Fantasy Flight Games has had a busy week. After becoming a part of Asmodee last week, this week sees them return to a place they haven't been seen in a long time: the App Store.
This morning Battlelore: Command made its appearance for both iOS Universal and Android devices. BattleLore Command is the digital port of BattleLore (Second Edition) and it comes with a lengthy single player campaign that tweaks some of the BattleLore mechanics a bit to fit the story and change up the objectives, as well as a skirmish mode that is, basically, the board game in digital form.
You can play skirmish mode either against the computer or against another player via local wifi. There doesn't appear to be any internet multiplayer yet.
I've had the chance to play around with the campaign for a little bit this morning and, so far, I'm loving it. It's an incredibly polished app full of help and tutorials for newbies, and it's great to have a Command & Colors game finally on my iPad.
You can pick it up for iOS Universal here (iPad2+, iPhone4S+), and for Android here. Either one will cost you $10.
Playdek Having a Thanksgiving Sale
We haven't heard about many sales going on this week, which is kind of weird. The first one we heard from is from mobile developer extraordinaire, Playdek.
They have put Agricola on sale for only $3 instead of $7. On top of that, all the IAP for new decks is down to $1 a piece.
That's not all, though. Everyone's favorite naughty maid game, Tanto Cuore is available now for only $1 instead of $3.
You can also pick up expansions for Ascension: Chronicle of the Godslayer for only $1 each, except for the Darkness Unleashed expansion which is down to $2. You can pick Ascension up for Android, too.
Codito Games Go On Sale
Remember how I said that we hadn't heard of many Thanksgiving sales? I just said it. Up above, in the Playdek story. Seriously? Do you actually read this thing?
Anyway, it's still true, even though I'm about to tell you about another sale. That's because nobody warned us about this one, I just happened to stumble onto it today when looking for stuff at Appshopper. This, dear readers, is as close to investigative journalism as I've ever gotten.
Anyway, all of Codito Development's games are currently on sale for $1. Every one of them, except Puerto Rico HD of course, because that one's controlled by Ravensburger Digital GmbH. Here are links to each one on the App Store:

They even discounted the Android version of T&E, which you can get here.
