In the Warmaster Trial Armies book there is an entry for Tengu's. Tengu are wood daemons – half bird half man. They can make a magical move from one part of the forest to another. This movement is treated as a sort of flight or teleport - Tengu unit diappears in one wood, appears in next, and may charge the enemy that was visible for any one Tengu in a start of this move as normal.
So I need 28mm birdmen miniatures for my Nippon army. (Because I am building 28mm armies to be used with the Warmaster ruleset.) The Tzaangors from Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower came to mind, but they are too few and to expensive. That's when I found this plastic Arakkoa birdman from WoW.
He's perfect. I'll base two of them on a 40mm square base each. To add variation in the regiment I'll add a Wildkind too.
In this blog I'll talk about various miniature games. Custom miniatures and minor conversions are my favorite pastime. I'll cover scenery making and painting too. The WIP you'll see here is all about Necromunda, Epic 40,000, Warhammer Fantasy 5th Edition, Warmaster and Warhammer 40K 3rd Edition.
