Frank J. Messina (c. 1920 - March 8, 2009) was an American artist, art director, and former veteran of World War II. Messina served in the United States Army from 1941 to 1945 with the 805th Engineer Aviation Battalion. He spent the majority of the war as a camouflage specialist and building airfields in the Pacific. Messina achieved the rank of staff sergeant before his honorable discharge. He enjoyed sharing his experiences about World War II with area school students.
Messina was an avid watcher of game shows. He retired from Lehigh Litho/Alcom Printing Group in 1994 after 25 years as its art director.
