Delája Schuppers (1976) has been designing game rules since he first got to know Milton Bradley’s Axis and Allies, which combined his interest for World War 2 with a miniature game. That was a big deal back then because most games mostly used cardboard or 1 or 2 simple game pieces. Nowadays 3D printing is making dreams come true. Since he developped his own private game called Sitzkrieg; Faces of Global War from an AABattlemap game map, Delája has worked on the translation of HBG’s Amerika into Dutch and has recently (August 2018) together with a small research team of volunteers finished work on the upcoming Elite of the Soviet Union Expansion for HBG’s Global War 1936 game. Delája is still working on another new HBG expansion to be disclosed later by HBG, while also being part of HBG’s International Designer Thinktank to help bring out a revised Global War 1936 manual, reference sheets and redirected expansions which as a work in progress needed polishing.
