Krogstad's firm started as a sole proprietorship in 2002, with focus on offshore and other industrial related systems. But in 2007, after investing in two waterjet cutting machines he started to look for other customer groups. In 2010 he was contacted by the company who was to release "The Engineer Game", and for them he custom-made the four player pieces that comes with each copy of the game. The tokens were resembling four different mathematicical symbols, Alpha, Pi, Sigma and Omega. These were all made out of aluminium from Norwegian sources
