Fan of History from “old time”, I approached the table games as a child, with my father’s Monopoly, the "growing step" I did it in 1976 when I bought my first boardgame: Afrika Korps. From then on it was a continuous growth. In 1980 I was a co-founder of Club TreEmme of Modena (one of oldest boardwargame club in Italy), in 1983 I founded with some friends the Italian Diplomacy Association. I was employee of Stratelibri, of Giovanni Ingellis, and co-founder of Raven Distribution, well-known companies in the world of board games. Today I'm developing some games of different kinds, a series of "SPI quadrigame style battles" dedicated to Marshal Raimondo Montecuccoli, one of the greatest commander of the XVII Century and one of the best military intellectual of History; other: political and diplomatic "games", the first of which is set in the thirty years before the First World War. After having tried in the past to develop "complex" game, Europa Universalis, After the Holocaust, etc. style, I think that a simple game, combined with historical accuracy, can help spread the historical simulation game other then a few players.
