I began designing tabletop games after being introduced to Munchkin and Euros. As I get older, I appreciate social gaming more and more. It's a way to stay in contact with friends and share in the fun; something I find generally lacking in video games. As for the Euro invasion, I love seeing innovative game mechanics. Component quality and theme certainly help seal the deal for me, but it's the gameplay depth I desire most. It is my hope, with the cooperation of the Game Artisans of Canada, we can add a fresh perspective to the evolution of modern board game design.
I have been developing video games professionally since 1997, and was a cofounder of Barking Dog Studios.
As a software engineer I have contributed to:
Bloodlines (Playstation 1)
Homeworld (PC)
Homeworld: Cataclysm (PC)
Global Operations (PC)
Transworld Skateboarding (XBox) - Unpublished
Treasure Planet (PC)
Bully (Playstation 2)
Max Payne 3 (XBox360, Playstation 3, PC)
I hold a bachelors degree in Computer Science from Simon Fraser University.
