Tord Hasselquist (b. 1925, year of death unknown) was a Swedish business executive who is credited with designing the Oil: The Great Adventure (original name: Oljan - Det stora äventyret) game in cirka 1960. The game would eventually be translated into six other languages.
Hasselquist worked for some time for the publishing house of Åhlén & Åkerlund, the first publisher of Monopoly in Sweden (that was before Hasselquist's tenure at Å&Å though) and a subsidiary company in the Bonniers Group. He would later work for Alga's former manufacturer Billingsfors Pappersförädling AB, also a company in the Bonnier Group (as indeed Alga itself were) where he eventually would raise to become one of the directors.
