Gary Mayer is the co-founder of CORGS, the Columbus Ohio Retro Gaming Society and hosts the annual convention, CORGS-Con, in central Ohio since 2008. Originally starting out as a retro video gaming group, it branched out to tabletop games years ago and many of its members now host games at large conventions such as GEN CON and Origins. CORGS-Con has snowballed into a mid size convention attracting gamers from all over the USA and Canada.
With over 27 years of game testing and design experience, Gary produced 'Yankees and Rebels' in 2009. This Civil War strategy game was debuted at Con Text in Worthington Ohio. His latest game, Cyberball, was debuted at the ACEC Classic Gaming Show in 2016. Currently, he is working on doing a 2 player tabletop game of the classic video game 'Herzog Zwei'.
CORGS and Gary are based out of Columbus Ohio.
