Paddy Griffith (February 4, 1947 - June 24, 2010) was a game designer, author, and lecturer with an interest in battlefield history. In 1976, he completed his PhD. Born in Liverpool, he previously ran a wargame club at Sandhurst. In 1980, he set up an international society for the purposes of reforming the wargaming hobby.
He was a once lecturer in wargame studies at the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst. He was an expert in Wellington and tactics of the Napoleonic era.
He died of a heart attack while recuperating in Manchester from a recent operation.
