Daniel Weaver has a Ph.D. in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and works in the field of scientific computing. Combining biology and computer science has offered him the perfect venue for creative problem solving, and designing logic-based games for kids is a fun offshoot of those skills.
Daniel honed his game designs through play-testing with a myriad of game-loving friends, but more importantly, with his three children, who are not shy about offering their opinions.
In 2008, Daniel started Knightweaver Games, LLC to bring games designed around a novel 2-sided card mechanic into production. The first products are Patchwork and PatchWork (see the related BGG links).
