Bill worked for Decipher for ten years, performing technical editing, design, development, and other duties for the Star Trek, Star Wars, and Lord of the Rings CCGs, including spinoffs such as the Tribbles Customizable Card Game. He began as a product development assistant and rules guru before being made Lead Designer on the Star Trek Customizable Card Game and Design Director over all Decipher CCGs/TCGs, eventually becoming the Vice President of the Online Studio.
Looney Labs used Bill's technical editing abilities on Chrononauts second edition, and Fantasy Flight Games inflicted his obsessive-compulsive ways upon themselves as a beta tester and technical editor for Cosmic Encounter expansion materials.
He has been an active member of the Cosmic Encounter community on BGG for years, answering rules questions and producing far too many alien power designs, variant expansions, and new card types. His largest and most unique contribution by far is The Cosmodex, which seems to be turning into sort of a de facto encyclopedia for the game among PBF players and left-brained Cosmic BGG denizens.
Along with Jefferson Krogh and Jack Reda, Bill is one of the three core designers of the upcoming Cosmic Encounter: Cosmic Dominion expansion set.
