Dominic Crapuchettes is a game designer and entrepreneur based in Bethesda, Maryland. While in college he studied to become a writer and a composer of classical music. In 1997, he won $15,000 playing Magic: The Gathering on the pro tour. In 2001, he helped found the first game designer convention in the USA, Protospiel. In 2003, he stopped captaining an Alaskan salmon fishing boat to start North Star Games. Dominic won the Rising Star Game Inventor of the Year award at the 2010 TAGIE Awards.
