Pete Ruth is the designer of a several web-published and self-published games as well as the upcoming WizKids tactical dexterity game, SEAL Team Flix. He is also the editor and developer for Hyacinth Games’ WreckAge and the import game To Kill The King.
In addition to the game design, he also authors the occasional player aid and scenario for other game systems, such as the Dungeons and Dragons Adventure System campaign, Hunt for the Fiend.
Pete was once a game journalist, using his Superfly Circus platform to publish reviews, publish very popular magazine coverage of GenCon and other game conventions, and write commentary about game marketing, design, and social satire. He is currently a staff writer at Miniature Market’s Review Corner, a professionally edited and staffed section of Miniature Market’s website that is dedicated to unbiased reviews and news.
Pete has been playing games in earnest for over thirty years, learning Monopoly and Poker at four years old; he has been playing tabletop war games for twenty plus years, and spent time dabbling in RPG games such as Shadowrun, Twilight 2000, and the Palladium system.
