Mauricio Vismona Gibrin (b. 1973) works from his home in Sao Paulo, Brazil's largest town and the epicenter of boardgaming in the country. A fan of every sort of game, including but not limited to computer strategy games, Nintendo videogames and of course Euro-style boardgames, Gibrin started to work more or less professionally while obtaining his Journalism BA at the University of Sao Paulo, in the early nineties. In the past 15 years he's worked or collaborated in many board and card game projects in Brazil, and has been published in all major national game-making labels. Vineta is his first international publication. He enjoys songs from The Beatles, is unmarried and tries to watch as many live NHL games as he can when traveling abroad.
