Anne Wales Abbot(t) (April 10, 1808 - June 1, 1908) was a game designer, magazine editor, literary reviewer, and author who designed the following published games:
- The Improved and Illustrated Game of Dr. Busby [published and for sale March 7, 1843 according to the Salem Gazette of that date]
- The Game of Racers [published and for sale December 30, 1843 according to the Salem Observer of that date], and Master Rodbury and His Pupils [published and for sale November 30, 1844 according to the Salem Observer of that date].
She has been described as the designer of The Mansion of Happiness. This is not true. It was designed by George W. M. Fox of England in 1800 for The Duchess of York. Stephen Bradshaw Ives (S. B. Ives) located the game and republished it in the United States November 24, 1843 [published and for sale according to the Salem Gazette of that date].
She died at Cambridge, Massachusetts, at the age of 100.
