Roger Saunders is a lifelong enthusiast of art, sculpture, design, product development, drawing and gaming. He is a father and a very proud grandfather of five future game players.
Roger worked in the high tech industry for most of three decades. During the emergence of the personal computer Roger was able to transfer his studio skills, from the drawing table and easel, into abilities with the new creative tools of Illustrator, Photoshop, PageMaker, serious word processing and more. As a member of design and manufacturing teams of high tech start-ups he used these skills to support many new products. Later these new skills also provided the foundation for a successful graphic arts and model making business in the Pacific Northwest. By all rights, he is the quintessential early adopter.
While you can’t find him or his personal accomplishments on Google, he was heavily involved in multiple product development projects during the 70‘s, 80‘s, and 90‘s. This game project just might get him onto some-K bites of cyber space, fitting, after all this time, isn’t it?
Roger does eat chocolate pudding and whipped cream with the large spoon.
This Astromino Game will be a fulfillment of his personal goal to invent, design and produce a product and have a patent in his name, just like his Grand Father Mr. John N. Saxton, the inventor of the Saxton Kant Twist Clamp, US Patent, J. N. SAXTON -- 2,726,694 and 2,726,693.
