I am a student of political science in Southern California. I used to be a playwright and actor, but I realized that politics are my passion. I have lived here in the land of the sun my entire life and have no intention of ever leaving (at least not permanently). I have written several one-act plays, two of which have been produced, "Dr. Seuthelove, Or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love Anthrax" (yes, it's a blatant Kubrick rip-off, but I like the title so there) and "Jack Morocco and the Purgatory Tiki Lounge". My goal is to one day write a work with a short title, though that may never happen in the field I have chosen (I defy you to find a political science book with a short title). I am the recipient of a Model United Nations Distinguished Delegate award for representing the United Republic of Tanzania in the United Nations Environmental Programme. My life philosophy can be summed up in the last line of my first play, Dr. Seuthelove: "It's your life. Don't be afraid to be the main character."
