Board Game Designer and Publisher
I love games. Growing up in rural upstate New York, I began designing games at a young age. While these first games were sometimes quite adolescent, I found wonderful satisfaction playing them with both my parents and particularly with my younger sister, Jackie. Jackie was always extremely interested helping create any game she could be a part of. It was from her that I really understood and learned the art of balancing a game with the intent to create a both fair and exciting game. If a game was unbalanced or unexciting Jackie would quickly lose interest and through this iterative process my creations become more mature. In time, she would even find herself winning… :)
Later in life I joined gaming groups in high school and become more involved in action oriented games such as LARP (Live Action Role Playing). Within LARP I found it natural to supplement and later design scenarios of play (called Mods). Feedback began to grow that these Mods were enjoyable, and sometimes requests for repeats or follow-on scenarios were requested. It was LARP and on the field of design with Jackie that my inner game designer grew.
As a designer of MomentumVolsk I am dedicated to 100% customer satisfaction and 100% awesome games! My dream is to share these creations with friends and family and anyone who wishes to plays games; to spark creativity, require thought-provoking decisions, and provide memorable experiences that bring people together.
