Konrad was born in 1978 in Poland. He has graduated from the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznan as a lawyer. From the childhood he has been interested in board games. He started creating his own games when he was a teenager, but his first projects was very simple and immature. When he had began playing with many varieties of board games, he was ready to craft his own real game. As a result of his own interest and passion for all types board games, especially military and historical strategies and hard euro games, he created the game ‘Imperialism: Road to domination’ which will be released in Essen 2014. For Konrad, creating a game is a lengthy process that requires patience and ability to bear criticism and using it to improve a game. Among his favourite titles are: Le Havre, Here I stand, Barbarossa to Berlin, Agricola, Through the Ages, Age of Empire III, Twilight Struggle. As he says: ‘I always try to play new games and only when I particularly like one, I am willing to play it again’. Apart from being interested in board games, he also enjoys history, military, science - fiction and fantasy themes. He plays computer games, reads books and network forums connected to his interests. He advices amateur game designers not to be too confident about one’s perfection because not listening to other peoples’ remarks may end up in a boring or a broken game.
