Brought up playing games, Sebastian Bleasdale got bitten by the designer games bug in his teenage years when he bought copies of Catan and Tigris & Euphrates. A subsequent purchase of Simply Cosmic resulted in his first exploration of games design, as his attempts to adapt it to his tastes left it considerably worse.
He was deterred until, upon graduation from Cambridge, work led him to Windsor, where he met and started playtesting for Reiner Knizia. Here, he learnt the long path most games take before they become suitable for publication, gaining credits in most of Reiner's recent games including the codesigned Prosperity.
This experience inspired him to start designing games himself, which led to the publication of his games On the Underground, On The Cards, Keyflower, We Will Wok You, Lemminge and Black Fleet. And many more games are yet to come.
