Hi, I'm Diego Cerreti and I'm a game designer, and certainly a gamer before that. So I did something about games before starting designing (some of those things just to earn enough money to eat, so i'll not talking about them).
I worked with the associations "Ludico Imperio" e "Reindeer Corporation" for the organization of numerous italian public gaming events, something even with Hasbro.
I'm a former editor for Gioconomicon.net, the italian site of gaming news. Since I quit writing on it, it's becoming even important by the international side (just a coincidence?).
I'm the founder of ilpuzzillo.com, the first ironic/satirical boardgame review site in Italy, a lot of fun and a lot of polemics, 'cause italians are very sensitive to everything (about them). Obviously as soon as I started designing I quitted writing reviews, just to avoid conflict of interests.
At that time I started also studying game design as a serious thing, enough to be a staff member of BGDItalia.it, an italian forum inspired by BGDF.com, a place to discuss about game design theory and practice with other designers. Shortly afterwards BGDItalia started to cooperate with many large italian fairs, taking care about design workshop and design contest.
By studying and working on BGDItalia.it I gained a mention in the book "Game Design: gioco e giocare fra teoria e progetto" (ital. "Game Design: game and play between theory and project") by Maresa Bertolo and Ilaria Mariani, in the board game design chapter (don't say).
And finally, after years of terrifying games wrote for the "pleasure" of friends, since 2013 I'm designing for Red Glove:
Co-designer of GodZ (a colorful and hard strategy and tactical god game written with Marco Valtriani).
Designer of Mostrilli (little game for children loving monsters).
Designer of Circus Express (little family game to be mad about just one easy decision).
