Two-time winner of the Chicago Toy and Game Fair’s, Young Inventor Challenge, Nick has always had a passion for games and began designing his own at age 5.
In 2010, Nick entered and won the Young Inventor Challenge (YIC)at the Chicago Toy and Game Fair, with his game, That’s Cheating, inspiring him to participate again the following year.
In 2011, Nick entered and won a second time with his game Squashed which was noticed and picked up by PlaSmart CEO Tim Kimber. He becoming the first two-time winner of the senior division of the YIC (2010, 2011). Nick established his own company, Messy Desk Ideas, Inc. in 2011 at 17 years old.
After running Amazing Race/Minute to Win it birthday parties, he hosted his own Survivor in his back yard which he used as a stepping stone to work on the show professionally in the Summer of 2013. 2 challenges that he pitched made it on the show.
In college Nick founded an Entrepreneurship Fraternity, Sigma Eta Pi, and created games to reveal emotional intelligence in live situations for vetting through potential members.
