Thanks for downloading this episode, my first of 2010!
A very special episode with a very special guest.
And it's too long. Too bad.
A number of games discussed this time, including in no particular order:
Bonnie and Clyde
Twilight Struggle (of course)
Risk (her fault)
and many many more!
This episode also marks the beginning of a new contest, for Employee of the Month by Alan R. Moore and Aaron Weissblum, whom I think I refer to as Alan about forty times in the podcast. Sorry Aalaron. The LAST DAY FOR ENTRY is April 20th, and I will be announcing the winner in the May 1st episode. All guild members are automatically entered to win, unless you post on the forum that you'd rather not participate. The only folks excluded from entering are me, my family, and Alan R. Moon. I'm assuming he has a copy. If you are not a member of the guild, join it to be entered to win this and every other contest for the rest of the year (how ever many there are).
Also, I'm outlining a new review policy:
You are welcome to submit items for review, but I make no guarantees of a) a positive review, or b) when I will review the game, though I'll keep in touch with you about that. Furthermore, any game sent for review must be a professionally published product. Send games to me c/o Franklin Federated Church, 171 Main St., Franklin, MA 02038. ALL GAMES RECEIVED FOR REVIEW WILL BE USED FOR PRIZE CONSIDERATION FOR LISTENERS. If you are sending a me a pre-release copy, note the earliest possibly date that said game could be given away. I don't want to compromise your marketing schedule.
Also, as of now I am accepting PRODUCERS. Producers are folks who donate to the show. Details are laid out in the podcast, and I'll eventually get that policy up here as well.
CALL FOR FEEDBACK: send me your mp3s! Let me know your favorite teaching strategies. Tell me I'm full of it. Let us know what you think of the podcast. All audio feedback is appreciated.
Finally, please consider leaving a review of the Little Wooden Cubist podcast on iTunes, with as many stars as you can manage to leave me in good conscience. This helps me rise to the top when people do searches, and I REALLY appreciate it.
This podcast is brought to you by the letters a, c, c, o, u, n, t, a, b, i, l, i, t, y and by the numbers 1 and 50.
Cheers and thanks.
