Johann Peter Wolf, and his wife Maria Susanna Regina ne. Paumgärtner, bought "das Dürerhaus"* in Nuremberg in 1695. The three sons, Johann Joachim, Johann Jonas and Johann Sigmund, named the company "Johann Peter Wolfs Erben", i.e. "The heirs of Johann Peter Wolf".
"Back to Dürer" - this is the motto of Albrecht Dürer's House, presenting the living and working quarters of the great artist, Albrecht Dürer (1471-1528). The museum shows all facets of Dürer and his work.
