Witty Editions is a French game publisher founded by Robert Yannick and Camille Tremblay in 2010 that's modeled on MyMajorCompany.com, a site on which users can fund specific projects by musical artists.
On MyWittyGames.com, users are presented with game projects and can buy shares in them. Once 300 "édinautes" fund a project, the game is then produced. If the game sells above a certain level, a user can earn some of the profits based on the number of shares purchased; if the game is never produced due to a lack of funding after a certain time period, the investor can redirect his funds to another project or request a refund.
The first release from Witty Editions, in February 2011, is Witty Pong from Bruno Cathala and Antoine Bauza.
