The Ronaldo Project, announced in January 2013, introduces the concept of Crowdsourced Sports Championships, leveraging the power of social media to organize a worldwide, amateur football championship, promoted and endorsed by Cristiano Ronaldo. Starting in October 2013, teams from around the globe will compete to become the world champions.
