Naval historian, John F. Di Virgilio is the founder and creator of the Virgilliam Game System (aka. Virgillian Games) or VGS. His Gaming system is usually a duel format tabletop and/or re-enactment style, using large print-n-play warship target illustrations. Print size is usually legal (14" X 8.5"), with special order game prints ranging up to 13" x 19".
Most VGS games can be played using cards and in many cases can also be played by dropping or throwing darts. The games can be played solo or in teams. Game target illustrations and score sheets can be reproduced for personal (non-commercial) play by purchaser. Play duration varies between games but usually run 30-60 minutes.
