From the Uptick Games website:We love those ideas that keep you up at night and won't get out of your head. We have a giant list of games we'd like to come into the world and we can't wait to build them. We reward our creators who come up with innovative games.
Even the best game ideas don't come out of your head totally perfect. We test and test to get feedback and make the games better. We iteratively improve our designs to get awesome gameplay.
There are enough mediocre games - let somebody else make those. If a game can't make it through rigorous development cycles, then it gives us more time to work on other games. We only publish the cool ones.
