In 1901 Ludington Novelty Works and Archarena Company of Peoria, IL., merged and become Carrom-Archarena Co. Production stays in Ludington.
The company name is often seen on the label these boards carry. It can be found on the outside rail of the board or in the Crokinole target hole. It can also be found in many of the old rule books with a copyright date of 1901. Many people become confused when they see this date thinking their rule book and accompanying board must be this old. This publisher dates from 1901 to 1913 or 1914.
