Cheeky Parrot Games was founded in May 2014 by Julia Schiller, formerly of SchilMil Games. Cheeky Parrot is a designer, producer and distributor of card and board games for the casual, family and gift markets, based in Auckland, New Zealand. Cheeky Parrot now owns the IP for the games Raid the Pantry and Granny Wars: A Game of Tit for Tat. These titles are distributed in Australia by Even Toys & Games. In November 2015, Cheeky Parrot released a third title, Cat Capers. In mid-2016, Cheeky Parrot ran a successful Kickstarter campaign for a game it developed in collaboration with Tim Kings-Lynne and Beck Veitch, Hoard. Hoard was released in New Zealand and Australia in later 2016 and to the North American market in early 2017.
