Old Danish publisher of mainly card based games and Picture lotteries.
The full company name was L. Levison Junior (L. Levison Junr. or L. Levison Iunior) and was located in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Apart from making card games they also made Traditional Playing Cards, Christmas calenders (one of the first in Denmark) and other paper and cardboard publications as well as records (under the brand Pop-Ten, reg. 1969)
1850 - Establishment - originally as a paper trader (bookshop, papershop, etc)
1890 - Establishment of book- and art printer and book binder
1921 - S. Johnsen is established
1955 - S. Johnsen changes name to Johnsen+Johnsen a/s as the son enters the company
1986 - Johnsen+Johnsen a/s is bought by CEO Henning Nielsen
1989 - L. Levison a/s is bought by Johnsen+Johnsen a/s
1993 - Levison+Johnsen+Johnsen moves into new offices in Glostrup outside Copenhagen
Sometime after 1998 (possibly 2003) the company have been bought by Neppurgolas (est. 1990), which seems to be closed by August 2007.
